I bought a very “sweet” Pro-Street Chopper this past winter. It was in Iowa and I’m in Upstate, NY. The last thing I wanted was to have the bike shipped on an open trailer in the winter. The road salt and dirt is awful and would have really mucked up my bike. I went onto U-Ship and got several bids for door-to-door in an enclosed trailer. Terry came in at the exact price which I had in my budget – and it was a lot less than everyone else had quoted!
I told Terry that I was in no rush to get the bike. After all – it was still winter here and the ground was covered with snow – no chance of riding the bike anyway. Terry promised the great price if he could pick the bike up and work his way to me over a few weeks. I said that works for me. He did exactly as promised. The bike was not only in an enclosed trailer (and strapped down very well) but it was also covered with blankets. WOW! I was impressed!
